Ridden is the breakthrough project developed by Michael Chavales, a sound engineer born in Athens, Greece in 1983.
With a deep interest in music technology, Michael started producing psychedelic trance music in 2005, after attending his first festival.
It wasn't until 2008 that he joined Harmonia Records and the "Ridden" project was finally born. With two full albums in his background, “Art & Science” and the latest "Journey of Enlightenment" along with many other releases and collaborations in compilations he has managed to captivate even the most demanding listeners.
With a growing international reputation, Ridden has participated in numerous major events, making a great impact in any performance.
His production characteristics are heavy kick drums, warm baselines, dreamy rhythms and alluring melodies imprinting his distinct signature sound!

Drip Drop is a side project of Ridden, which is trying to expand the limits into a more surreal ,deep and mysterious state..
Ridden is the breakthrough music project developed by Michael Chavales, a Greek sound engineer and innovatively creative artist born in Athens in 1983. Michael’s deep interest in music technology and specifically in the digital sound processing area was the major factor that sprouted his enthusiasm and got him started producing psychedelic trance music in 2005 after his first visit in a big outdoor festival.
For the next three years he experimented with various styles and techniques and in 2008 he joined Harmonia Records and the Ridden project was finally born. Since then, and after the release of his debut EP “Loosing Control” an his full album “Art & Science” which proved to be an immediate hit and captivated the audiences from north to south of Greece, he stirs and leaves a footprint in any dance floor any time! Michael is well-known for his evocative style in his sets and lives that electrify even the most demanding of crowds.
With a mushrooming international reputation, Ridden has participated in numerous leading underground events ….
His distinct production characteristics are heavy kick drums, warm baselines, dreamy rhythms and crunchy melodies that will guide you through unforgettable psychedelic music journeys…
